JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative Legal Support :
1) Handles and executes all legal issues of the company with respect to project contracts, land management contracts, business related contracts, arbitration in consultation with senior.
2) Prepares initial draft of various agreements, legal disputes, legal policies, procedures, etc. entered into by the Company.
3) Assists higher authorities in negotiating, structuring, drafting, reviewing & finalizing various Agreements, MOUs, Letter of Intents as and when required.
4) Assists in drafting matters by giving necessary, documents, etc. as may be required by solicitors/ Advocates from time to time.
5) Executes drafting and vetting of all documents pertaining to sale of residential/commercial properties like; Project Contracts, Commercial contracts and Business Contracts allotment letters, agreement to sale, sale deeds etc.
6) Responds to enquiries from internal and external parties for the purpose of providing information, facilitating communication among parties and/or providing direction regarding status on legal issues or cases
7) Coordinates with internal business representatives and external lawyers &senior counsel under the guidance of senior
8) Keep a track of various Court cases filed by the Company/cases against the Company.
9) Executes activities related to revenue, civil, criminal, indirect taxation matters& other legal matters of the organization.
Documentation& Deeds :
1) Prepares initial sales deed, Sale agreements, Power of Attorney deeds, Settlement deeds, Trust deeds, Construction agreements, other allied agreements/ deeds.
2) Keep cases organized by maintaining files, monitoring calendars, meeting deadlines and update case management database along with confirming case status with attorney.
3) Coordinates with Advocate/ Solicitors for all documents
4) Handles all formalities & documentation relating to Registration of Properties.
5) Checks for systematic and efficient filing system for easy retrieval of legal documents.
Liasioning :
1) Liaises with the Advocates/ solicitors of the Company on legal issues and accordingly updates higher authority and management on issues from time to time.
2) Handles all the regulatory and legal work and liaises with the regulator and external lawyers for compliance of the same.
3) Coordinates with other Government Departments - Revenue, Land Acquisition, Local Authorities, Police and other Government Authorities.
Educational Qualifications- LLB a must , LLM desirable
Experience - 18 plus years, Max 25 Years
Linguistic skills - Communication - written, oral and spoken - in BENGALI is a must for this role
