My client, an established Shipping Company operating predominantly Bulk Carriers, has exclusively retained us to support them in hiring a ‘General Manager’.

This is a great career opportunity for Executives already in a C-level role in a medium size Shipowning company (15-25 Vessels), a Technical Director, or a Commercial Director in a leading Shipowning company (more than 40 Vessels), or an Executive from a leading multinational Consulting company (BIG 4 as an example) who have been involved in the consulting for the Maritime business throughout their careers so far.

My Client is also looking for the below:

Ø Strong Academic credentials in Engineering from leading Polytechnic Universities, followed by an MBA from a top-tier school.

Ø Excellent People Management skills.

Ø Strong understanding of the Greek-Cypriot Maritime landscape.

Ø EU passport holder is a prerequisite and ideally currently based in Greece or Cyprus, and/or with native Greek.
