As a well known food retailer the company is planning to make use of the current market dynamics in the Caucasus. Usually operating in the mid price segment, it will bring quality at affordable prices to the region

The Job

As an expert in the food retail industry you will be responsible to put everything in place that is needed to open between 10-30 stores per year. The position will coordinate all main functions:

• Store operations and expansion
• Commercial and Category Management
• Logistics and Supply Chain
• Human Resources 
• Finance

The person:

As an experienced retail professional you have either started your career in retail operations or category management and have worked your way up through the ranks becoming a CEO, Sales or Commercial Director. You like challenges like setting something up from scratch or reorganising existing operations. As a strong communicator you are aware of cultural challenges that can impact the efficient functioning of a business. We are mainly focussing on candidates who have gained their experience from leading supermarket chains in Eastern Europe or the CIS market.
