The Company
As one of the global leaders in cement making our client is expanding in Central Asia and would like to hire an experienced Business Development/Regional manager to drive their sales of new equipment in the region.
The Position
As the main representative for the company in the region you will be responsible to develop the company's business in the region. This will include:
- Market research on the upcoming and applicable projects
- Sales meetings with decision makers from private and state companies
- Proposal writing and tendering
- Cooperation with head office and technical teams in other regions in order to offer the best technical solution
- Participation in Exhibitions
- Arranging of export / finance / lease deals for equipment
- Renovation / upgrading projects
- Extensive travel
The Person:
The ideal candidate will have a technical background or strong technical understanding in order to offer the best technical solution to the clients. A strong network in the local community will help you to understand which projects are currently open for tender. Good communication and negotiation skills will be needed to be successful in this role. A good command of English will be important to be able to communicate with HQ.
