Role Description:

The Global Capital Expenditure (CapEx) Controller is a key financial leader responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s worldwide capital investments, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization of funds in alignment with strategic business objectives. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, while driving transparency, governance, and financial discipline across all CapEx processes. This role supports cross-functional teams, drives financial discipline, and delivers insights to maximize value from capital projects across all regions and acts as a business partner for site finance teams.

Financial Responsibility:

• Oversight and management of CapEx budgets, forecasts and reporting across all entities.

• Approval and tracking of CapEx-spend across the organization.

• Responsibility for fixed asset accounting accuracy and compliance.

• Monitoring and reconciliation of CapEx spend to balance sheet.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in financial controlling, preferably with exposure to CapEx and fixed assets

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CFA) is an advantage

• Advanced Excel and ERP system knowledge 

• Experience working in a global, matrixed organization is strongly desired

• Ability to travel internationally as required
