Since more than 5 years they began their global expansion setting up offices in UK, Brazil, Greece, Cyprus, U.S.A., Middle East.
The Structure of the Marketing Manager department:
- This role is part of the think-tank team.
- Number of subordinate employees: 1 or 2
The UK team marketing departments are as follows:
- Think-Tank – global marketing team and a team designated to create innovation.
- Delivery Marketing: marketing operations (packaging, colours - more technical roles)
- Support (finance and sales)
This particular role is reporting to a global marketing director and its management level is of a board minus 3 or 4 (there is global marketing director in place with one or two subordinates).

The few most important must haves of the best matching Candidate in this role are:
- Leading the global brand management of the spirits portfolio, with particular focus on dark spirits;
- Providing strong marketing programs for Romania and international markets to implement locally, facilitating accelerated brand growth (sales & equity).
- Open to working from the office 3 days per week (Mon, Tue, Wed or Tue, Wed, Thurs) and 2 days WFH
- The candidate should be based in London (Alexandrion’ UK offices are in London - Richmond)
Responsibilities:
- Creating and presenting annual strategic objectives and marketing plans for the assigned brands.
- Ensuring and following the optimal use of budgeted resources for brand development.
- Implementing the strategic plan for fulfilling the long-term objectives of the brand and achieving a significant increase in brand performance (quantitative/qualitative)
- Permanent monitoring of the growth in the market of each brand assigned.
- Overall supervision of all marketing actions related to the assigned brands.
- Analysis of and sharing competitor brand activity, with a view of ‘stealing good practice’.
- Proposing ATL and BTL actions to obtain a better positioning of the brands in the market.
- Policing activity on their brands in international markets
- Overseeing & approving all A&P spend in the markets.
- Building a good relationship with all stakeholders (agencies, sales force or distributors, operations, procurement), to ensure quality support for product growth.
- Working in a team, knowing the company's capabilities, understanding customer needs, and finally be able to combine all these for the benefit of the brand and actions’ that need to be taken.
- Coordinating the interdepartmental actions and activities in order to obtain the best services in placing in the market and subsequent follow-up of the brand.
- Permanent reporting to the company's management of the results obtained and/or of the stage of implementation of the actions related to each brand.
Role Requirements / Skills, Competencies, Certifications:
Main skills / Competences:
- Very strong communication & presentation skills.
- Impeccable image and conduct, good awareness in terms of behaviour and brand representativity.
- Others: project management skills, good planning, organizational, success oriented, creative & flexible, capable to adapt to any situation, with good negotiation skills.
Prior experience in a similar role (Minimum):
- At least 2 years in a similar position;
- FMCG - food & bev 's marketing experience would be a great plus
Studies:
- Graduate of Marketing, Business Administration, or Economics University.
- Possession of WSET certification will be regarded as an advantage.
Other Abilities/Requirements:
- Seminars on new marketing, sales or management techniques; Informative seminars for development within the global market.
- Knowledge of PC operation (World, Excel, Power Point).
- Flexible schedule & availability for extended schedule depending on assigned actions and activities when needed (e.g. events, fairs, photo & video shootings, business trips, and so on)
- Driving license, B Category (at least 1 year experience) will be considered an advantage.
Foreign Languages:
- Business language English (written, read, spoken)
- knowledge of any other foreign languages will be considered an advantage - nice to have any South East European language
C&B draft package
- Salary: Min. GBP 60k
- Bonus scheme: A bonus scheme - TBD – not established yet.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including an 8% matching pension contribution from the company.
- The health coverage provided extends to the candidate and their family, with a value of approximately £5,000.
