Job keys items - Role:

As a Global Technology lead drying and formulation, you will be part of the Global Technology group, composed of a select team of technology engineers who are leading individual equipment focused technology platforms.

In collaboration with various internal and external partners, you will be actively driving activities around the formulation and drying processes of active ingredients and play a key role in shaping the future the division and the company.

Your field of action will range from optimizing existing unit operations to being a step change catalyst in technology innovation, thus a key player in driving growth and efficiency within our company.

This position report to Powder Global Technology Operations Director.

Mission – Keys responsibilities:

• Lead & drive technology development across our biotechnology applications of downstream processing technologies (Spray Drying, Freeze Drying, Granulation, …) with special focus on cleaning effectiveness, hygienic design, quality & stability.
• Responsible for Technology scouting including pilot assessments in- and outside our industry to ensure the group is constantly leveraging latest development.
• Ensure end-to-end leadership to evaluate business attractiveness and to rally stakeholder network to obtain approval.
• Owns and drives global standardization and best practices.
• Provides URS for new line installations and actively participates in Capex projects.
• Fuels continuous improvement of processes and technologies in the plants in terms of efficiency, yield, quality, safety & sustainability.
• Leads respective technology know-how management across the organization and maintains relevant communities of practice.

Qualification et Experience :

• Master’s in biotechnology, Chemical Engineering or Food Engineering.
• +10 years of relevant experience including technology scale-up’s.
• Proven experience in technology development & implementation
• Experience in shopfloor practices, process safety and business finance.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills Leadership skills with ability to build relationship in cross-functional and remote set-up.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
