Our client is a growing Company into Building materials and is looking to onboard a GM- Commercial & Operations at it's HO in Delhi.

The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing and managing company's overall Commercial Operations (Logistics, Procurement etc.) in order to maximize the process efficiency and productivity

1. Partner with key business stakeholders in executing operations strategy
2. Implement efficient Logistics and Procurement processes and standards
3. Working closely with Zonal and Regional Managers/Head sales/Plant team/Finance team to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for efficiency 
4. Ensure compliance with local, state and international laws
5. Sourcing large size vendors & their development 
6. Develop and implement Procurement and Contract management guidelines, policies and procedures
7. Overseeing the implemented systems and processes are followed i.e maintaining records etc.
8. Infrastructure & Facility management. Exposure to luxury/premium facility management is an advantage
9. Strict Compliance & Liasioning with Local govt bodies Pollution Board, PWD, Police etc.
10. Working closely with IT Infra & System team to develop efficient IT solutions & smoothen up the Logistics and Procurement processes
11. Responsible to lead cost saving efforts across Supply Chain by facilitating identification of cost saving opportunities. 
12. Ensure proper Audit work has been done as per company policy and Fill the gaps areas and ensure continuous improvement
13. Manage & Build High Performance team and culture

Desired Skill Set

1.      10 - 14 years of experience in Operations & Supply Chain Management

2.      Experience in Building Material Industry is preferred

3.      Previous experience of Heading operations/supply chain with team reporting of at least 5 years

4.      Graduate, preferably with MBA or equivalent qualification 

5.      Strong commercial acumen and understanding of accounts, taxes etc. 

6.      Must be able to understand legal documents & contracts 

7.      Strong negotiation & problem-solving skills 

8.      Interest in IT/digital or have already implemented digital transformation in any domain of operations
