Position Title -GM, Regional Business Operation
Function/Department Operation
Reporting To Director, Operation
Job Purpose -
The post holder will be responsible for the management of escalated operational issues to eliminate the impacts of risk and controls. Collaborates with Operation Director, Regional Managers of services, parts and sales, to identify and document operational best practices to implement within the region/market. Specifically provide coaching, training, and guidance to the region as it relates to ensuring compliance with operating policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities-
Ensures the agreed upon KPIS are achieved as per the agreed quality, time & cost.
Plan, Manage and develop the business operations strategy and how that overall strategy is implemented.
Manage, develop and oversight on the sections of sales, parts, and services.
Identify, evaluate and implement as appropriate other avenues to increase ROIC and maximize profitability.
Acts with a high level of professionalism in dealing with highly sensitive and confidential requests.
Works on achieving the regional business objectives and take consider opportunities and risk when making business recommendations.
Support and cooperate with Operation Director, Regional Managers of services, parts, and sales.
Work and assist with resolution of issues that arise to ensure the firm retains clients.
Provides guidance to the Operation Director, Regional Managers of sales, services, and parts on issues impacting the region business or staffing...etc.
Participates in weekly, monthly and quarterly business meetings, calls and workshops as appropriate.
Ensure that the regional operational team understands their roles and responsibilities.
Identify and share market specific issues/challenges in relation to products and services business specific.
Participates in regional/market leadership meetings to present operational.
Reviews high risk reports on an ongoing basis and works to address.
Review reports to identify trends in data, strategies with sales, parts, and services regional managers on addressing best-practices on how to monitor, resolve, or resources are available
Visits business sites to work in resolving outstanding negatives issues.
Reviews Annual Account and advising them on how to manage products/services to prevent aging.
Treat with regional on client service complaints that result to warnings in operational processes that identify gaps and help formulate timeline of necessary actions.
Other duties as assigned by Operation Director
Qualifications -BA/BS degree, MBA or similar required
Years and Nature of Experience -A minimum of 10 years’ experience
Other Experiences & Skills
Experience with MS-Office.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
Solid presentation, analytical and communication skills; experience packaging operational data in an executive manner focused on driving business decisions.
