Looking for an Excellent General Counsel for an Indian Company with 10+ years experience post qualification (CS& LLB) for Delhi location.

Roles &Responsibilities

1. Provides legal counsel and guidance to the management of the organisation and other senior leaders on all legal matters .
2. Anticipates researches, identifies legal issues and counsels senior leaders of the organisation in order to develop legal strategies and solutions, often in situations of political and public relations, or financial risk or significance, and with limited time for assessing alternatives
3. Drafts, reviews, and approves policies and procedures, regulations, bylaws, and other legal documents.
4. Provide legal assistance to Human Resources team for employment matters, employment templates/contracts, policies, procedures and other important matters like POSH. Advising on labour laws related issues.
5. Select and retain outside counsel to obtain legal opinions or to handle claims & litigations, to administer all business/vendor/internal agreements and contracts, from start to end, including, vendor/client due diligence, drafting contracts, review/realign of contracts, contract negotiation, contract execution, etc.
6. Custodian of all original agreements, contracts, major court orders, certificates of incorporation, commencement of business, licenses and approvals and all regulatory filings/reports, registers as applicable.
7. Provides training to the Business on various legal issues
8. Examining and creating draft agreements, such as employment and vendor agreements and advising executive, senior management and board on various matters such as legal rights, and new and existing laws.
9. Conducting legal research and reviewing company's litigation strategy pertaining to legal actions.
10. Liaising with outside counsel regarding creating new entities and managing organization's intellectual property.
