Functional Experience/ Requirements:
1. Extensive Operations delivery experience preferably in 3PL logistics space or across Automotive companies.
2. Damage debit management for Inbound BA’s supported by qualitative damage analysis and action planning, reduction in damage in carrier mode of transportation and reduction in damage in IUTN shipments.
3. Demonstrated leadership and organisational capability in earlier role assignment – formed/ manage a new vertical/team, built a new business for a company etc
4. Team leadership and project management experience; ability to make interventions as required to improve operating efficiency and service delivery for customers while ensuring profitability for MLL
5. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to build long lasting relationships with key customers in the cluster
6. Well-developed entrepreneurial sense and strong network building skills
7. Ability to drive cross-functional teams on a large scale
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting cluster business growth by developing new business and helping with account penetration
2. Responsible for operations/service delivery for the cluster leading the cluster transport managers, account delivery, warehouse operations as well as stores and linefeed operations
3. To formulate and ensure implementation of Transportation/ Stores & Linefeed and Warehouse processes and strategies in line with customer /Organisation Business Requirement
4. Responsible for delivery of the GM targets and managing overall revenue targets
5. Ensure end to end operations for stores, line feeding & warehouse operations by ensuring that there is effective coordination with the customer and Business Associates for any quality issue, discrepancies, claims and on time resolution of the same
6. Evaluate KPI s as per contract, review process performance, Monitoring of customer complaint, Proactive Action plan for improvements, Timely submission of RCA /CAPA to client for service/quality failure with on time resolution.
7. To provide inputs to the customer through MIS, Monthly MRM and Quarterly QBR
8. Overall responsibility for delivery of 3PL logistics operations at agreed customer SLA/terms of business; maintaining customer relationships at the cluster, conducting detailed reviews (Internal and with the customer)
9. Ensuring strong practices to optimize operations in material management
10. Guiding the team on guidelines and procedures around material handling and consignment documentation
11. Building cluster infrastructure and delivery capability - through hiring & training of required resources, development of operating assets (infrastructure, IT solutions etc) as business expands while ensuring optimal capital efficiency
