Our client is a leader in manufacturing sector and is looking for a Group Chief Financial Officer.
The Group CFO will be responsible of the financial strategy of the group of companies (~5 companies), monitoring the daily financial aspects by substantiating the main economic and financial indicators related to the group's activities, their analysis and the proposal of measures for their compliance.
He / she is responsible for budget planning and supports the executive management team by providing information and financial advice that will allow them to make the best business decisions for the company.
Responsibilities:
- Planning, drawing up and monitoring the income and expenditure budget at the level of the group of companies;
- Creating a strategy for the coherent allocation of financial resources, in the medium and long term;
- Preparation and interpretation of their financial reports;
- Coordinate the function and operations of the financial department to ensure that the activities are aligned with the strategic objectives and meet the expectations of internal and external clients;
- Supervising cash flow, cash management, working capital, investments, insurance, internal company audits, statutory audits and company reporting packages, budgeting activities and financial reporting;
- Ensures the fulfillment, in accordance with the provisions of the law, of all the financial obligations of the company towards the state budget, banking units and other legal entities or individuals;
- Ensures the adequate management of the financial risks associated with the company's activities;
- Representation of the group of companies in the case of any fiscal / financial control, accounting expertise or external audit missions;
- Stimulating operations optimization by providing predictive analytics and working closely with other members of the management team;
- Analysis of project profitability and development of optimization potentials;
- Drawing up the annual budget together with the local management;
- Analysis of transactional processes and identification of areas where additional accuracy and efficiency can be achieved;
- Collaboration with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits;
- Regular information of the Board of Directors on all aspects with financial impact.
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance;
- Accounting experience according to IFRS standards is a plus;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the financial management of a group of companies;
- Exposure to the analysis and reporting of operational finances;
- Business English, spoken and written;
- Sound analytical skills based on finances;
- Ability to analyze, understand and solve complex accounting problems;
- Self-motivated, results-based and autonomously taking responsibility for achieving your goals.
