Role Purpose:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Group Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead Group Information Technology (IT) function of one of our valued Clients. As a key member of the Executive Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the IT systems, business platforms and driving innovation to support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and lead the technology architecture, roadmap, and technology of a world-class Group IT function.
• Deliver IT solutions at strategic and operational level by managing and controlling of Group IT operations; talent and workforce management; technology and infrastructure; financial and IT investment and procurement management and lead the adoption and implementation of new technology, practices, and processes to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Drive enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives to support business growth and competitiveness.
• Lead, inspire and coach a team of high-calibre professionals, creating succession to key roles, enhancing the Group’s capability and drive talent management.
• Lead the Group’s business platform capability to enable the business to deliver on the Group’s strategy and changes in regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (B.Eng.) or Commerce (B.Com.) focusing on Information Technology
• Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
• 20 years of management experience, with 8 years at an IT executive level within the financial services industry
• Extensive experience in enterprise system integration, enterprise systems, and Agile/DevOps Development Life Cycle.
