Experience in Group holding is a must, preference for Catering & Retail, Education & Health care industry.

• Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, financial and operational processes, and regulatory compliance.

• Assist in preparing audit plans and programmes which includes operational activities, objectives, scope, and methodology.

• Perform audit assignments and identify control gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

• Summarise audit findings and work with department heads to create effective and efficient solutions.

• Prepare reports expressing audit opinions on the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal controls and operational efficiency.

• Follow up on the recommendations and timelines for corrective actions with department heads.

• Assist and advise management during the internal control’s implementation phase.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or a related field

• Min 10 years exp in the UAE with background in diversified nature of business

• CA Certification is required

• Knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations

Special knowledge/ Skills:

•           Computer intensive knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint

•           Advanced knowledge of professional accounting software

•           Knowledge of current tax laws and regulations in UAE

•           High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills

•           Sound independent judgement
