Our Client is a leading Infrastructure Group engaged in the development of Smart cities as well. They are looking to onboard a Head of Design and Development at a Vice President level to manage end to end Design to construction.

Qualification - B.Arch./ M.Arch. with MRICS as an added advantage

Experience - 20 + years in reputed and large Construction Companies / Consulting companies

Job Accountabilities

Design Management

- Design development of all kinds of large complex projects from conceptual stage to completion of project by coordinating with user departments, consultants and other stake holders of the Project. 

- Evaluate and Shortlist Architects & Designers to generate Design solutions in line with Company's overall vision

- Responsible for managing and coordinating the complete design concept with the architectural and interior designs including review of materials and finishes, review of services, plans and space planning requirements, design presentations, systems and construction coordination as well as that of site installation.

- Ability to optimize design and present alternate creative, innovative & cost effective design solutions as per Design brief

Developmental Control

- Develop Design Guidelines for various Asset Classes

- Ensure that Project Vision is carried throughout consistently from concept till execution

- Guide in taking prudent decisions for overall project and organizational benefit.

Compliances, Approval & Liaison

- Ensuring Compliance to the process laid down for Building Plan approvals

- Ensuring adherence of plans to building bye-laws, Master Plan 2021 and the Development Agreement/SSL Deed

- Guide Teams in obtaining approval from Regulatory Bodies / authorities on sanction plans for projects

Procurement Management:

Support procurement team with Technical and Commercial inputs in tendering, consultant evaluation and shortlisting

The candidate would be required to manage end to end Design to Construction and is not purely a Design or Construction interface

Would be involved in Project Management. Should be Cost conscious, willing to be flexible in approach and should have dealt with large Capex Projects across all classes of assets - not purely residential or commercial.
