Key Responsibilities

• Design Leadership: Oversee the design of HVAC systems for pharmaceutical cleanrooms, industrial facilities, and other specialized environments, ensuring compliance with GMP guidelines and cleanroom standards.

• Cost Estimation: Develop accurate project cost estimates by analyzing specifications, drawings, and project requirements. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.

• Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align design and estimation with project timelines and budgets.

• Technical Oversight: Ensure designs meet regulatory standards for cleanroom classifications, air changes, filtration systems, temperature control, and humidity management.

• Vendor Coordination: Source pricing for materials, equipment, and labor. Build relationships with vendors to secure competitive quotes.

• Team Management: Lead a team of design engineers and estimators, providing mentorship and ensuring adherence to company policies.

• Quality Assurance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HVAC technologies, cleanroom regulations, and industry trends to deliver innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).

• Minimum 10 years of experience in HVAC design and estimation, with at least 5 years in pharmaceutical or cleanroom projects.

• Strong knowledge of cleanroom classifications (ISO 14644), GMP guidelines, and HVAC design standards.

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD), estimation tools (e.g., ProEst), and project management software.

• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.

• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
