- As a Business Development Manager, you will identify new business opportunities in order to generate new revenue, improve profitability and help our business grow. This will include web search, attending events such as conferences and expos, networking events and through the utilization of your own personal network.
- Working predominantly in the industrial equipment sectors (such as industrial pumps, food & textiles, oil & gas, warehouse automation etc.) you will source new clients in need of precision manufacturing and assembly solutions, arrange introductory meetings, analyze opportunities, propose solutions and win manufacturing and assembly business.
- In addition, you will help identify new and innovative opportunities in growing business segments where Linamar can take an active role in the rapid scale-up and commercialization of start-up companies with new products, helping Organization to diversify its business footprint through investment, partnership or acquisitions.
- Your mindset is opportunistic and resilient, creative and customer centric. You will hunt opportunities externally and manage the transition from sales to manufacturing internally.
- This is a highly active and visible role for a strong achiever looking for recognition and advancement through delivering performance.
Qualification: BE + MBA
Experience: 17+ Yrs in Automotive industry new client aquisition and solution selling
