- Develop and Implement Quality Management Systems: Design, implement, and maintain robust quality management systems to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and customer requirements.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Oversee all aspects of quality control and assurance processes, including product inspections, testing procedures, and quality audits. Implement corrective and preventive actions to address any deviations from quality standards.
- Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to establish and maintain quality standards for suppliers. Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify potential quality risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to prevent quality issues and ensure product safety and reliability.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by implementing lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other quality improvement initiatives. Monitor key quality metrics and performance indicators to identify areas for enhancement.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to quality assurance team members and other relevant stakeholders to enhance their skills and capabilities in quality management.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, sales, and customer service, to address quality-related issues and drive quality improvement initiatives.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and minimize regulatory risks. Liaise with regulatory authorities as necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ Certified Quality Manager) preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in quality management roles, with significant experience in a leadership capacity.
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools, including ISO standards and quality management systems.
