Required Qualification

1. B. Tech (Plastic Engineering) from a reputed & recognized university/Institute
2. MBA (Operations) from a reputed & recognized university/Institute

Experience

1. 15+ Years of relevant experience in Manufacturing industry with intensive exposure in Extrusion  Operations (Piping) and Strategy Management
2. Should have worked on Manufacturing Excellence and Capability frameworks
3. Should have managed Techno Commercial Role

Technical Skill

1. Having good exposure of Extrusion and allied processes
2. Knowledge of various polymers and relevant compounding mechanism will be an added advantage
3. Expertise in Process Optimization and evaluation
4. Adequate knowledge of overall operations optimization and turnover maximization

Principal Accountabilities

Plant Efficiency

1. To be accountable for the all the Extrusion Processes for all the plants.
2. Periodic Updating of Plant Capacities based on quarterly update of standard cycle time, Machine OEE and addition / deletion of capacities
3. To oversee product quality and quantity as per the standard, optimum cost and OTIF, maximizing efficiency, optimizing production levels, and driving operational excellence across all lines of production
4. Preparation of annual budget and forecasts and ensure its utilization. 
5. To be responsible for NPA Management and evaluate reuse, recycle or scrap of the same for cost effectiveness
6. Coordinate with Plant heads & CAPEX for Annual Budget preparation, effective utilization, and evaluation of the same

Production Planning & Delivery

1. Establish manufacturing operational strategies by evaluating previous trends of various KPIs
2. Liaisoning with Costing / IT to ensure timely updating of masters related to new capacities or updated capacities.
3. Monitor and review of Plant wise / category wise plan vs. Actual gain and loss details and ensure deployment of right plan of action

Innovation Culture

1. To drive innovation culture & ensure commitment to the achievement of operational excellence.
2. Ensure achievement of Manufacturing Excellence framework as per the set target & monitoring the same on regular basis.
