Key job deliverables

• Responsible for the management accounts of the SSC including monthly accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
• Responsible for setting up of accounting system for the organization
• Oversee all local statutory & regulatory compliance, including VAT returns, payroll, tax returns and other local submissions
• Ensure effective operation of financial controls
• Responsible for the planning and managing of the annual statutory audit process including statutory account preparation, audit file preparation, ad-hoc analysis and assisting the auditors with queries as they arise
• Responsible for providing input into any Group reporting or compliance requirements
• Manage the relationship with the other teams, including period end activities and balance sheet reconciliations
• Influence and negotiate with internal and external business contacts to promote financial awareness and discipline to continuously drive improved financial control
• Effectively manage operational risk and continually challenge the adequacy and effectiveness of controls to mitigate those risks
