Job Purpose(s)
- Responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of organization’s Information Technology needs
- Ensure effective operating model to support both the current and future Information and Technology
- needs of the Bank.
- Plans, organizes, and controls the day-to-day information technology resource activities.
- Ensures the information technology activities are secure and stable, used to help maximize profits for all stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- To manage and deliver business systems, technology and information for the Bank through the administration of technology resources, supporting facilities and all related programs.
- Attainment of at least 90% network availability and performance net of latency.
- Regular reports to executive management of the state of information security across the organization
- Ensure in-country operations are in alignment with Africa Subsidiary IT Operating Model
- Preparation and administration of IT operating budget in line with business financial strategy
- Timely payment of service provider invoices. Zero tolerance for late payments.
- Zero tolerance for hardware refresh costs over budget.
- Deliver cost effective delivery of personal computing and productivity working platforms.
- Zero downtime of the data centre
- Effective power management across all locations – Head Office and Branches. Availability of power, UPS and inverter availability.
Professional Requirements
Qualification
- Good technology related university degree preferably in Computer Science/Electrical Electronics Engineering or Numeric Science.
- Professional Certification in Networking will be an added advantage
Minimum Experience
- Minimum of 8 years cognate IT experience, 3 of which must be in the management of IT Application Support
- Good knowledge of Flexcube and Project Management

- Adequate knowledge of client server architecture environment
- Knowledge of Applications functionality and administration.
- Good knowledge of WSUS/SCCM administration
