Position Summary

• A track record of shipping products, getting stuff done, and working in high growth

product focused organizations.

• 10 - 12+ years of total engineering experience with deep experience of building

engaging consumer products.

• A strong engineer with significant individual contributor experience. You should expect to

write some code, at least for the first year in the role.

• Experience growing and leading smaller teams (anywhere from 5-10 people), and

shipping successful products.

• You will lead, manage and guide the Mobile (iOS/Swift and Android/Kotlin) team.

• You will provide technical direction and make architectural decisions.

• Liaise with other Heads, Directors and team leads on full-stack and Product Engineering

teams to coordinate work.

• You will provide technical insight into product development decisions and product

strategy ideas to the Product and Senior Management.

• You will code and do code reviews as able and necessary.

• Experience writing and maintaining automated unit-tests, functional tests

• Experience with creating and working with CI/CD pipelines.

• Measuring and improving performance and making the systems more robust.

• Help teams troubleshoot and find ways to move faster and raise the quality

bar.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related major strongly preferred.

• Solid Computer Science fundamentals.

• Strong knowledge of web and mobile architecture.

• Hands-on experience building, deploying, and scaling native iOS and/or Android

applications.

• 10+ years of software engineering experience and 4+ years of focused mobile app

development.

The ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply them successfully.
