Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Application Développent team on the Product & Technology Management
- Responsible for solution architecting for digital projects and business initiatives.
- Lead the main technical studies to identify solutions and technologies to be integrated to the stack
- Bring advice regarding technical design, find the most relevant components for a project depending on business, technical, development and financial constraints
- Assist Global & Local Team Architect in their projects
- Own & support delivery of the payment scope of the project
- Plans, coordinates, and supervises all activities related to the design, development, and implementation of the organization's applications development function.
- Manages multiple development teams supporting different products or lines of businesses.
- Directs and guides the managers, reviews different project requests, timeline and cost.
- Develops, distributes, supports, enforces, and integrates best practices and technology standards across the organization.
- Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets, policies, procedures to support the functional infrastructure.
- Manage hiring, retention, career progression, promotion, salary, incentive schemes and training needs for the Development team.
- Identify areas for improvement in requirements, design, testing, implementation and maintenance performed by teams and feed back to stakeholders/peers.
- Manage annual budgets for training, development tools and staff motivation.
- Plan and report on progress of projects from all Agile teams.
- Manage resource allocation across Agile teams to align with the continuously evolving needs of Product and Technology.
- Work closely with Product Management to supervise the scheduling of projects ensuring cross team dependencies are surfaced and managed efficiently.
- Co-ordinate with Architecture and Infrastructure teams to ensure internal systems and applications are designed in such a way that they can delivered efficiently and operated confidently in production.
- Work closely with Program Management & Operations team and other teams (Legal, Compliance, Finance, Merchants, Marketing etc.) to anticipate all the necessary steps and avoid bottleneck effects on the delivery roadmap due to e.g. the compliance & regulations framework.
- Own & support delivery of the payment scope of the project
- List & coordinate the required resources to be put in place & the different payment modules in order to deliver the business roadmap
Desired Profile:- Graduate / PG in IT or in any field with at least 12-15 years of experience or MBA in IT with at least 10 years of experience.
- Should have knowledge on latest tools to support digital application development
- Must be agile and adaptable to changing business needs and priorities
- Ability to work with multi locational and multi-functional teams
- Must have good analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot
- Should possess fair knowledge on security standards to be followed in the card industry
- Must be committed to continuous learning and system development.
- Should have attention to detail and multi-tasking capability
- Ability to respond to regulatory audits and any third party/internal audit
- Self-reliant and able to work independently
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Able to accept responsibility and take ownership
