Job Description
HEAD OF ACCOUNTING
Tasks:
Team Supervision, Communication and Collaboration
- planning and coordination of the activities and processes for accounting department
- delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members, providing guidance and support as needed
- monitoring the efficiency and education of employees, active support to team development
- coordination of the activities of the accounting with the activities of other department
- collaborate with other departments, to ensure accurate financial data and information flow.
Financial Planning: plans and controls inflows and outflows of the funds
General Ledger/Bookkeeping:
- maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, account reconciliation and trial balances
Taxation:
- managing and overseeing VAT and other taxes procedural accounting requirements
- staying updated on tax laws and regulations to optimize tax planning and compliance
Financial Analysis and Reporting
- independent preparation of financial annual and periodic statements
- financial consolidated statements and other financial statements and report to the MB
Compliance and Auditing:
- coordination of relations with auditors and implementation of audit recommendations
- cooperation with state bodies
Legislative and Regulations:
- monitoring of the current regulations in the field of finance and accounting and their application
Process Improvement:
- control and improvement in the application of internal procedures to enhance efficiency an accuracy within the accounting department
Candidate Profile:
- Master s degree/VSS in Economics, preferably in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Good knowledge of IRFS, finance, accounting and tax law regulations
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in using accounting software, Microsoft Excel and SAP
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong team management abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized person, who tends to be accurate and focused
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations.
