Responsibilities:
Plans and monitors daily accounting operations;
Ensures full compliance of accounting and tax functions with all applicable local regulations, rules and principles;
Acts as the main link to the HQ teams in financial affairs;
Ensures timely and accurate reporting to HQ Accounting and Finance Teams;
Monitors and analyses accounting and tax data, prepares all necessary financial reports and statements;
Ensures internal controls are in use and fully complied with;
Prepares annual budget and regular budget reports;
Works in collaboration with HQ Finance teams in all financial processes;
Plans and monitors period closing transactions in compliance with local regulations and Group Accounting and Reporting Policies;
Manages communication with official bodies and auditors related to accounting and finance functions under HQ Finance Leadership and Local Management;
Assess financial risks and reports to HQ Accounting and Finance teams in time;
Ensures timely and accurate preparation and filing of all relevant tax declarations;
Monitors and reports accounting KPIs on timely basis;
Develops and implements best practice accounting and reporting solutions in line with Group Accounting and Reporting Policies ;
Trains accounting staff;
Manages audit processes;
Assists/co-operates with cross-functional Accounting and Finance teams in joint projects and issues ;
Assists Local/HQ Management on accounting, finance and related compliance issues;
ManagesExtensive knowledge on local compliance in accounting and tax functions
and assists Local Accounting Team in daily technical accounting and tax issues
Drives projects as assigned by the HQ Finance Leadership.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Business Administration;
CPA certificate ;
Minimum 10-12 years of work experience (incl. min. 4-5 years team management experience) ;
Work experience in an international trade company - extensive knowledge in import/export transactions and related compliance requirements;
Tax audit origin with one of the Big 4 is an asset;
Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
