HEAD OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
Location: Cluj-Napoca
Job Overview:
The Head of Business Administration will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities and business operations of the group. This is a hands-on role requiring direct involvement in day-to-day financial operations, from strategic planning to implementation. The role works closely with senior management, including the Managing Directors and CFO of Real Estate Division as external collaborators, banks and financial institutions, to align business strategy with financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy and Performance
- Design and implement financial strategies to improve the financial health and performance of the organization.
- Develop cost-saving initiatives and strategies for sustainable business growth.
- Conduct risk assessments and create mitigation plans to safeguard company financials.
- Lead the review and negotiation of loan agreements with banks and financial institutions.
- Oversee financial management processes, ensuring consistency, best practices, and compliance across both companies.
Operational Finance
- Develop and manage financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for real estate operations and residential development projects.
- Monitor and analyze financial data, producing detailed reports and recommendations for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, leading internal audits, and coordinating with external auditors.
- Manage financial terms in contracts and commitments, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate closely with the accounting team to maintain efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Business Strategy and Collaboration
- Align the business strategy in Romania with group’s financial objectives, ensuring cohesion between business development and financial planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, supporting improvements in organizational processes and metrics.
- Engage in high-level decision-making, providing strategic financial advice to the senior management.
- Drive business development initiatives, contributing to the long-term growth strategy of the project.
Leadership and Management
- Lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for senior management.
- Provide mentorship and development opportunities for team members, encouraging professional growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA/CFA is an advantage).
- Proven experience in financial management, preferably within the real estate or property management sector.
- Strong understanding of financial management principles, accounting regulations, and project-based financial operations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to engage in both strategic and operational finance tasks.
- Fluency in English (Hungarian language skills are a plus).
- Proficiency in financial software, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on strategic planning.
