Head of Cloud Infrastructure

Job Description

Rate- £600 per day inside IR35

Dutarion- 3 months initially

Start date - ASAP

Location- Egham

ROLE

This role is a senior member of the IT team, tasked with developing and maintaining the significant estate of hybrid cloud infrastructure that underpins all IT services at the College.

They will manage the teams providing the 2nd and 3rd line hybrid cloud support teams and manage the transition of new elements into service.

The post will work closely with the Enterprise Architect and Technical Architects in ensuring Architectural Standards and Principles relating to technical design are developed, maintained and effectively enforced. They will also work alongside the leadership in IT providing high level advice on the strategic direction and priorities for the infrastructure that underpins the IT estate

Responsible for the strategic planning, day-to-day operations, delivery of new services and solutions and capacity planning to ensure the hybrid cloud meets the current and future requirements of the College.
