Roles and Responsibilities:

• Owning the technology health of the project/account on all key metrics

• Responsible to Design & Deliver Complete Algo Trading Platform for all exchanges in all segments

• Hands-on experience on designing all components like: TBT, OMS and Strategy Engine

• Ensuring projects/accounts meet technical governance standards, technology standards, and best practices

• Make comparative analysis of trading softwares available in the market and deploy the best one in terms of cost and performance.

• Design and development of innovative tools and systems for Ultra Low Latency trading and Direct Market Access.

• Interacting with multiple projects/accounts to create innovative use cases, assessing ROI, creating rapid prototypes, and interfacing with client stakeholders to implement solutions

• Working with market leaders providing Algo-trading solutions such as (Apama/ FlexTrader/ Presto/ AlgoStudio/ Greek / Odin/ Neat+/ Neat/ uTrade Others)

• Work closely with the IT security team to deploy Secured IT Infrastructure

• Hands-on experience in handling and saving Tick by Tick Data in different formats from online to offline server

• Manage and lead a team so as to improve the reliability, accuracy, speed, and use of trading technologies.

• Mentoring and managing team members, by giving constant on-the-job feedback, and by providing guidance

• Major responsibilities involve Project Management, Change Management, Release management, Vendor Management, Test Management, Stakeholder Management, Strategic Relationship Management & Regulatory Compliance, Configuration Management, Financial and Resource Planning and Management, Performance Management & Testing, etc.

• Generating business from existing/new members/partners and achieving business targets from the FinTech domain

Desired Skills:

• Experience in capital markets or Fintech Domain

• Knowledge on large-scale C/C++ based multi-threaded applications

• Strong Entrepreneurial and Leadership skills

• Experience in designing and developing technology solutions using a variety of Trading platforms, languages, APIs and tools, with at least 12 years of software architecture experience.

• Knowledge of various IPC mechanisms on Linux/Unix-based systems.

• Depth knowledge of financial trading platforms / Algo trading.

• Preferred knowledge and interest in shares, portfolios, trading, Indian capital markets (NSE, MCX, BSE)

• Ability to influence key client stakeholders on their technology and operations strategy & Experience in handling diverse teams.

• Vast experience in owning the delivery of complex technology solutions in FinTech Platforms.

• A balanced approach that aligns technology-based solutions with customer needs.

• Visible thought leadership through technology blogs, whitepapers, presentations etc.

• Fluent verbal and written communication skills.

Academic Qualification: Masters and Bachelor’s degree in IT engineering with 12-16 years of experience
