The Position:
Head of HR - Kazakh speaking, Retail-Hospitality
The Client:
For our client a major player in the retail and hospitality industry, we are looking for a Head of HR to assist the company's start up in the region. Currently, only a small team is on the ground, however during the coming six months the team will expand to several hundred staff.
The Position:
As the Head of HR you will be responsible for the set up of the HR function in all aspects. The job will require a lot of hands on work and you will get involved in a lot of start up projects. It is not planned to have a large HR team, so you will personally get involved in a lot of projects. The most important milestons for the coming 6-12 months are:
- Hiring a team of 2-3 HR specialists into your team
- Reviewing the current set up and creating a structure which will allow rapid growth in the coming month
- Set up an efficient recruitment and assessment proccess
- Supporting the business in all HR related questions
- Close cooperation with Europe based HQ
- Creating a KPI system that will allow to monitor progress
- Be the HR Partner for the business
The Person:
You have at least 5-7 years experience in running the HR function in a fast changing business world ideally with a Horeca, Retail or FMCG background.
With a good command of English you are also able to communicate in Kazakh language, as it is expected that several staff hired may not be fluent in Russian language.
You will also be expected to have a solid knowledge of the local employment and related legislation
Working in an international company travel will be required within Kazakhstan as well as other locations
