Our client is a global luxury fashion retailer with around 3000 trading partners operating in 60 countries and around 1500 dedicated employees from production to distribution. For two years software engineers, data experts, architects, and various external partners are collaborating to achieve a large-scale digital transformation, from a monolithic architecture to MACH principles.

Head of IT B2C Applications
Main function
Ensuring smooth operation and constant development of IT systems and applications in the B2C area (e-commerce, retail, marketing/CRM)
- Conceptual further development of the business applications like e-shop, cash register systems, OMS, CDP, marketing automation, CRM
- Sub-project management in setting up a new omnichannel architecture in the B2C area
- Development and management of a key user group in stationary retail
- 2nd level support and control of external service providers and outsourcing partners, and a sit in the Change Advisory Board
- Assurance of the results in terms of quality of the provided services and the project results
- Disciplinary management of subordinate employees
What will make you successful
- Several years of experience in a comparable position
- In-depth knowledge of the processes and fundamental technologies in end-consumer business, direct sales channels, and marketing
- Technological understanding of the MACH principles (Microservices, API first, Cloud-native, Headless)
- Methodological know-how in the areas of project management (e.g., agile methods, Prince2, PMI, IPMA) and IT service management (ITIL) is an advantage
- Fluent English
- Service-oriented and communicative personality
- Independent work and "problem solver mentality"
