Our client is a global luxury fashion retailer with around 3000 trading partners operating in 60 countries and around 1500 dedicated employees from production to distribution. For two years software engineers, data experts, architects, and various external partners are collaborating to achieve a large-scale digital transformation, from a monolithic architecture to MACH principles.

Main function

Ensuring smooth operation and constant further development of IT systems and applications in the B2B and finance areas

• Project management in setting up a new omnichannel architecture and support in cross-departmental projects
• 2nd level support and management of external service providers and outsourcing partners for financial accounting, B2B order entry, ER workflow, invoice archive, banking apps, production ERP, automatic replenishment
• A sit on the Change Advisory Board and member of the IT Leadership Team
• Assurance of the results in terms of quality of the provided services and the project results
• Disciplinary management and development of subordinate employees
• Further development and adaptation of the programs/modules of the sales ERP including interfaces

What will make you successful

• Several years of experience in a comparable position
• Sound knowledge of the processes and basic technologies in the B2B and finance sector, ideally with experience in the textile/fashion industry
• Technological understanding of the MACH principles (Microservices, API first, Cloud-native, Headless)
• Methodological know-how in the areas of project management (e.g., agile methods, Prince2, PMI, IPMA) and IT service management (ITIL) is an advantage
• Fluent English
• Service-oriented and communicative personality
• Independent work and "problem solver mentality"
