The Position

The successful candidate will coordinate the work of the Legal and Compliance team based in Almaty. This work will include:

• Day to legal support to the various business units
• Advising the Senior Management and European Headquarter on legal consequences based on certain strategic options
• Organising efficient work of the team on the ground
• Selecting and managing the cooperation with legal firms
• Participation in key company decisions
• Ensuring the company meets all legal requirements for its operation in Central Asia

The Person

With legal education from one of the leading law schools in Kazakhstan you have already worked as a senior lawyer or head of legal for company operating on the territory of Kazakhstan. You have a strong analytical mind and can voice your concerns considering legal restrictons, however will always provide constructive input in the decision making proccess. As good communicator this job requires a fluent command of Russian and English and at least working level of Kazakh language.
