Job Description
Our Client is a world-leading manufacturer for the Oil and Gas Industry and the Construction Sector.
For their growing operations, they are searching for a ‘Head of Maintenance Departments’ to join their factory based outside of Attica.
Your responsibilities:
- Monitoring production and leading all maintenance processes.
- Developing maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation.
- Planning and managing all repair and installation activities.
- Managing the critical and strategic spare parts and technical materials and ensuring the optimization of spare parts stock levels to ensure availability.
- Monitoring expenses and controlling the budget for the maintenance department.
- Developing a training skill matrix for maintenance people and ensuring a development plan aligned with the company’s targets.
- Ensuring that all technical employees adhere to the HSE policies and procedures.
- Supporting the Procurement Department in the technical evaluation process for equipment, spare parts, and services suppliers.
- Managing technical changes according to company policies.
- Preparing progress reports, communicating financial figures, scheduling, and key facts.
- Ensuring operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair when needed.
- Negotiating contracts with outside vendors for the execution of maintenance work
- Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing Maintenance team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value, and continuous improvements.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
- Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers, and other service providers.
Your profile:
- Strong educational background in Electrical (preferably) or Mechanical Engineering (Polytechnic School is a must).
- More than 10 years of experience in a Plant Manufacturing setup in the Heavy Industry, is a must.
- Strongly experienced in Project Management principles and Maintenance Management Methodologies.
- Almost native English skills.
