Job Summary
The Head of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing the marketing and brand strategy for an FMCG company specializing in skin and hair care products. The role focuses on driving business growth, enhancing brand equity, and achieving sales and profitability targets. This includes leading the implementation of a comprehensive marketing mix aligned with the company’s business plan, ensuring optimal use of agency resources, and effectively managing, developing, and motivating a high-performing marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Target Achievement

Develop and execute marketing strategies that support the achievement of agreed top-line and bottom-line targets.

Ensure optimal utilization and effective control of the advertising and promotion (AdPro) budget.
2. Marketing Mix & Brand Strategy
-
Develop and implement integrated marketing mix elements for each product line in alignment with category and business objectives.

Lead the development of communication and advertising strategies.

Design and execute consumer and trade promotions, merchandising, and visibility initiatives to strengthen brand presence.

Collaborate with internal teams on media planning, packaging, pricing, and product development decisions.

Formulate both long-term and short-term category strategies to drive sustainable growth within the skin and hair care portfolio.
3. Agency Management

Manage and optimize relationships with external partners, including market research, advertising, and media agencies.

Identify, assess, and onboard new agencies to enhance marketing execution capabilities.
4. Market Research & Analysis

Develop market research briefs, interpret insights, and translate findings into actionable strategies.

Conduct detailed market, sales (primary and secondary), and profitability analyses.

Track and assess competitor activities, consumer trends, and media performance to guide business decisions.
5. Team Leadership & Development

Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team to strengthen key competencies and ensure high performance.

Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within the marketing function.
Job Requirements

MBA (preferably in Marketing, Sales, or Business Administration) is required.

Minimum of 15 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership or Head of Marketing role.

Proven experience in the FMCG sector, ideally within skin care, hair care, or personal care categories.

Strong understanding of the Egyptian FMCG and consumer health markets and emerging consumer trends.

Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
