Job Title: Head of Planning – Supply Chain

Job Summary

The hiring company is looking for an experienced and driven professional to take on the role of Head of Planning – Supply Chain. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient supply chain operations by leading demand planning efforts, minimizing stockouts, capturing opportunities, and proactively managing risks.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in demand planning and supply chain management, along with excellent leadership and strategic thinking abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Demand and Supply Planning

• Lead demand forecasting and planning activities to optimize inventory levels.
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to develop accurate forecasts.
• Analyze market trends, sales data, and historical performance to continuously improve forecasting accuracy.

Strategic Planning and Leadership

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing planning and procurement team.
• Identify potential risks within the supply chain and implement mitigation plans.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is an advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with a strong focus on demand planning, procurement, and logistics.
• Demonstrated experience in managing procurement and ensuring timely availability of materials for production.
• Knowledge of customs clearance processes and familiarity with pharmaceutical industry standards is a strong plus.
• Strong command of English.
