The role

We are looking for an experienced, successful product manager to strengthen their SaaS business unit.

Our client is a global company, which represents a mix of many diverse cultures, with over 25 nationalities on their team. They have a strong focus on Product Management with executive sponsorship and a keen focus on innovation.

The role of the Head of Product is driving and executing our company’s product roadmaps and manage the development team. The Manager is responsible for developing and advocating an ambitious and appealing product vision, and makes sure the Go-to-Market strategy is aligned with the Sales & Marketing strategy. The right candidate will have strong understanding of software and technologies and experience defining and delivering innovative services and programs for SAAS-solutions.

The candidate will demonstrate a track record of taking ownership and driving results in growth organizations, with have experience in developing systematic approaches for global growth and a deep understanding of SAAS-solutions and cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve a product that customers want to acquire, and that the organization can deliver profitably 
• Functions as the product visionary and clearly defines the product strategy and roadmap outlining specific needs as prioritized business requirements
• Delivers Marketing and Product Requirements Documents with prioritized features and corresponding justification and communicates recommendations to executive management
• Drive and execute an innovative product roadmap through customer interactions, industry expertise and collaboration across cross functional product teams 
• Engage customers at events, workshops and site-visits to better understand their challenges and use of our products to incorporate into our platform strategy and product roadmaps 
• Provide regular thought leadership (trends, blogs, industry knowledge, industry events, etc.) 
• Partner with sales, marketing and delivery teams to communicate roadmap priorities and obtain industry feedback and validation
• Measure and communicate progress against roadmaps to executive management
• Works with sales to set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
• Analyzes potential partnerships and licensing opportunities for the product

Do you have what it takes?

• Education: Master’s degree in business, Technology or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ track record as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager within the HR software environment and team management or lead experience
• Demonstrated success defining and launching products
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset
• Understands ecosystems around HR enterprise software
• Solid technical background with the understanding and/or hands-on experience in HR software for large enterprises
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision as part of a global team
• Strong problem-solving skills.
