Our Client is a world-leading manufacturer for the Oil and Gas Industry and the Construction Sector.
For their growing operations, they are searching for a ‘Head of Production’ to join their factory based outside of Attica. The role reports to the Plant Director and has the responsibility of three departments with several direct reports.
The role is responsible for the daily management and supervision of plant operations including production and quality control activities. Collaborates with the logistics and maintenance departments while ensuring compliance with all labor, safety, environmental, and corporate policies, and regulations.
Your responsibilities:
- Monitoring production and leading all maintenance processes.
- Significantly contributes to the development and review of the annual Plant budget.
- Designs investment projects and monitors key milestones when these are approved.
- Ensures production plan and quality of products follow customer's specifications.
- Ensures supplies, supporting materials, machines, and equipment ready to use and meet the quality standards.
- Monitors the production processes and adjusts schedules as needed.
- Liaise with different department heads for planning, organizing resources, executing work plans as well as production and quality monitoring.
- Communicates and collects proposals from direct reports regarding production efficiency and product quality improvements.
- Provides leadership for the successful day-to-day operation of the facility.
- Coordinates priorities and resolves issues when they arise.
- Follows HR policies and labor legislation for plant personnel.
- Ensures that legislation is followed for HSE and verifies that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times.
- Reviews personnel performance and identifies training & development needs.
Your profile:
- Strong educational background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Polytechnic School is a must).
- More than 10 years of experience in a Plant Manufacturing setup in the Heavy Industry, is a must.
- Almost native English skills.
