Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of quality control throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring adherence to industry standards and customer specifications.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality management system (QMS) aligned with ISO/TS 16949 standards.
• Lead a team of quality engineers and inspectors, providing training, coaching, and performance management.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address potential quality issues.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to continuously improve quality performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, procurement) to ensure seamless integration of quality principles throughout the product lifecycle.
• Manage and optimize quality control costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Stay updated on the latest quality control technologies and best practices in the automotive industry.
• Prepare and maintain quality-related documentation and reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (IIT/IIM/NIT/BITS preferred).
• Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Operations Management is a plus.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a leadership role within the automotive component manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing and maintaining a QMS aligned with ISO/TS 16949 standards.
• Strong understanding of Six Sigma, lean manufacturing principles, and other quality control methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
