The Role

Head of R&D & Quality

Main tasks:

Responding to the board of directors, he will take care of product management, from the concept, to the patent aspects, the production and the technical dialogue with the customer through the following activities:

• Coordination of the R&D department;
• Organization and monitoring of research projects;
• Management of projects’ budget;
• Optimization of the activities of the research groups;
• Collaboration with the Quality and Regulatory functions for monitoring the Quality system;
• Deal with customers for the definition of technical specifications and for taking charge of new research projects;
• Collaborate with business development colleagues;
• Direct collaboration with production department for the industrialization of products, supervision of any non-conformities.

Personal Attributes

• At least 15 years of experience in medical contexts gained in R&D;
• Degree, ideally in Engineering;
• Solid knowledge of the regulatory normatives of the medical sector;
• Fluency in English;
• Strong leadership;
• Willingness to travel;
• Experience in managing complex orders.
