About the Role:
A leading multinational FMCG company is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Head of Sales to lead its commercial operations across Egypt. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, a strategic mindset, and hands-on experience across all major sales channels within the FMCG sector.
This is a highly visible leadership position reporting directly to the CEO, with full responsibility for achieving top-line growth, building high-performance teams, and developing innovative route-to-market strategies.
Key Responsibilities:

Drive sales growth by developing and executing robust national sales strategies.

Lead and mentor the sales leadership team (8 direct reports).

Oversee all sales channels: Traditional Trade, Modern Trade, Wholesale, Direct Sales, Out-of-Home, and E-Commerce.

Forecast and manage sales distribution in alignment with business goals.

Build strong, performance-driven teams and ensure alignment with organizational values and objectives.

Conduct regular field visits and maintain close relationships with strategic clients.

Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify growth opportunities.

Report directly to the CEO and contribute to cross-functional leadership decisions.
Job Requirements:

Minimum of 18–22 years of experience in FMCG sales, with at least 2–4 years in a similar senior leadership role.

Proven track record of managing multiple sales channels in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG environment.

Solid commercial background, MUST be in food and beverage.

Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and drive high performance.

Broad business acumen and functional expertise across sales, operations, and distribution models.

Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing Route-to-Market strategies to accelerate business growth.

Bachelor's degree in any discipline is required; an MBA or advanced diploma is a strong advantage.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Willingness to travel frequently – approximately 60% field-based with a strategic client focus.

Fluent in English and Arabic.
