Head of Supply Chain
An international manufacturing company is looking for a Head of Supply Chain with the following qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline
Experience: 10+ years of successful management experience in logistics and supply chain, preferably with an international company, demonstrating strong intercultural communication skills and experience
A solid executive team member, hands-on, pragmatic, and able to make decisions Commitment to the highest possible level of personal ethics and integrity, with a strong understanding of global supply chain disciplines and matrix organizations
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Job Tasks:
Develop and implement strategic and operational plans for the Supply Chain in accordance with the company's business strategy to meet customer requirements, adhering to company standards, legal requirements, and operational costs
Manage day-to-day operational issues and optimize processes across Supply Chain areas, including budgeting, forecasting, planning, order management, stock management, transport services, customs clearance, warehousing, business support, and customer support processing, while continuously developing them
Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance, translating strategy into actionable programs, operations, or activities with clear strategic elements Make decisions within the responsibility area, integrating or coordinating with other businesses or functions, including geographic coordination of functions
Provide technical and business leadership for staff and work teams or task forces in broad functional process areas to solve complex and diverse issues
Integrate the delivery of client services, supplier and partner cooperation to ensure business targets are met
Apply broad and in-depth business management knowledge to resolve multidisciplinary or multifunctional/process problems
Resolve conflicts between work teams over resource allocation and other critical issues Identify opportunities for improvement and set up projects and initiatives to address them, identifying and acquiring resources needed in alignment with management
Lead, drive, motivate, manage, and develop a team across diverse Supply Chain functions
Effectively apply the company's project methodology and enforce project standards
Manage health and safety and compliance issues, ensuring the integrated process of customer support and customer administration from order to cash Maintain quality to company standards and effectively communicate with all internal and external stakeholders
