Head Process Engineering (Precision CNC Machined Components)

Main responsibilities - Define a methodology for  
• The entire new part development process; RFQ, technical discussion, Quality Assurance Plans, PFMEA, Tooling + Fixture development, proto development, sample approval and realization to serial production (approx. 200 Components each month) 
• Continuous improvements in cycle times and tooling in the regular production jobs 
• Technology development for minimum downtime of machines; e.g.: use of software for offline program development - Assign roles and responsibility to team…. 
• Evaluate human resource requirements as per business needs/growth.
• Prepare job description and responsibilities 
• Empower and develop the team for successful development of the given mission and task 
• Develop appropriate reporting and follow-up mechanisms for effective task management - Lean Structure and Manufacturing Process 
• Use of appropriated system and tools for efficient department management 
• Use of standard resources and infrastructure for functional and business management 
• Ensure bug-free orders transactions (follow self-discipline) - New Product Development Projects 
• Develop an adapted supplier base, service providers, etc… for successful task management 
• Lead the Project team in pre-study cost commitment. 
• Strive for simplicity and effectiveness in the development process. 
• To ensure robust process engineering, bring the knowledge & capabilities  
• upfront of the projects to allow the best Quality, Cost, and Efficiency.

• First Time Right Quality development of new parts 
• In charge for processes of the company 
• Respect & contribute actively to the SHE procedures (Safety, Health, Environment) 
• Promote ideas for continuous improvement 
• Interact on-time, with transparency & commitment with colleagues & managers  
• Maintain respectful and polite relationship with all contacts. 

Experience / Educational requirements 
• Excellent knowledge in machining processes, Development function, cutting tools, machines, production, etc… 
• Fluent in English, Marathi/Hindi 
• Use of IT tools like ERP, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint… 
• Able to read a technical drawing with tolerances & specifications. 
• Mechanical Engineer or equivalent. 
• Technical knowledge of Machining, Process Engineering, Quality systems…
