Define a methodology for

• Efficient process of Production, Dispatch (Deburring & Packing area),
• Monitor Key performances indicators; Customer Delivery performance, Sales plan, Machine utilization, Internal rejection and Inventory

Assign roles and responsibility to team….

• Prepare monthly Production plan, communicate and review within and cross functional team
• Single point of contact for marketing team for status update and on time delivery performance
• Conduct daily production meeting with efficient and simple interaction with all the required functions in the team. Anticipate the potential issues and propose actions to overcome the same
• Daily review of KPIs and effective communication within the organization. Drive the results with effectiveness
• Daily machine loading planning involving supervisors and introducing accountability
• Review and resolve all daily issues related to manpower, material, etc. with supervisors and required functions
• Guide packing supervisors for packing related issues
• Constant review the quoted cycle times per job Vs actual cycle times and take required actions (drive them within the organization)
• Ensuring Quality of Product & Process Capability throughout the organization
• Prepare job description and responsibilities for all team in production organization
• Constantly monitor the efficiency of Machine shop thru machine utilization, non-productive summary, overtime, internal rejection & rework
• Define Inventory monitoring mechanism and take required steps, involving Sourcing and Purchase, for efficient working capital management

Lean Structure and manufacturing Process

• Use of appropriated system and tools to avoid emails in the daily operations; ordering process, delivery follow-up, drawings, rejections, forecast, etc.
• Ensure bug free orders transactions. Follow self-discipline and demand discipline from all the functions
• Continual improvements in management process of production, PPC, material planning, lead times in order to have superior customer experience 

New Product Development Projects

• Support the Project team in pre-study cost commitment
• Strive for simplicity and effectiveness in development process
• To ensure robust process engineering, bring the knowledge & capabilities upfront of the projects to allow the best Quality, Cost and Efficiency

Experience / Educational requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Engineering or equivalent with about 10-15 years of Experience
• Able to read a technical drawing with tolerances & specifications
• Technical knowledge on Machining, Process engineering, Quality system…
• Fluent in English, Marathi/Hindi
• Use of IT tools like ERP, MS-Excel (Pivot Table), Word, and PowerPoint…
