Position:- Head - Sugar Sales & Branding
A. Sales marketing and business development:-
-
To identify potential customers and communicate with them for business expansion.
-
With reference to monthly Central Govt. RO, unit wise sugar production & stock, to plan for sale of sugar in open markets like Domestic Customers/Traders, Institutional buyers & Retail customers to complete the sale and delivery of sugar within stipulated period.
-
Follow up with corporate / bulk/retail customers for lifting of sugar and pending payment.

To develop new business segments like sugar packing in 1kg, 2kg & 5KG pouches & to sell sugar in retail market. And to coordinate with all related team reg. packaging of sugar to Reliance, Walmart & Grofers etc.

To coordinate with Branding team & develop new pouches design, artwork, to do costing, comparative statement, to identify potential vendors & submit to management for approval.

To coordinate with the dept. staff to sell of sugar and tender & to inform customer, sugar trader by email / telephone/SMS etc. about tentative sugar quantity, sugar grade, and packing type of sugar, last sugar lifting date & tentative time of tender finalization.

To follow-up with all types of customer complaints if in some cases visit customers & submit the visit report to Management & concerned department & to send them action plan with proper approval.

The sugar rate received from traders/brokers grade wise & quantity wise given to V.P. (S & M) to take decisions for rate finalization & confirmation.

To search & develop new industrial & domestic customers & arrange to visit accordingly and submit the visit report V. P. (S & M)

Domestic trading, buying sugar from other mills/traders and supply to various types of institutional & retail buyers, rake trading and PDS tenders etc.

To attain various types of training & seminars of other companies related to food safety & sales & marketing.

To forward current market information and demand in tender to the V.P. through telecom or by SMS or e-mail for review and further needful action.

To forward the requirements of institutional and retail customers to V.P. for review.

To prepare unit wise and customer wise sugar sale plan, yearly sale budget and arrange to send all concerned dept.
B. MIS & SOP:-
-
To Submit sugar sales and Marketing related monthly reports and PPT to V.P. (S&M)

To prepare all types of SOP’s, Manual’s and Annexures and submit to V.P. (S&M)

To prepare & arrange to send all sales & marketing department related meeting MOM to V.P. (S & M)
C. Documentation and Logistics:-
-
To coordinate with production & Tax team reg. online Performa-II , quarterly submission of stock verification certification, weekly or monthly submission of sale & dispatch report, RT 8C form, Annual Return, then sending the same through Registered A.D./courier/ e-mail / fax to the Chief Director, Sugar , Indian Sugar Mill Association (ISMA) Delhi and other related govt. dept.

To coordinate with QA, Production and Godown Dept. regarding customer’s specific requirement of documents other than Excise Invoice such as COA, other quality & food safety certificates, customer audits and if any other requirements etc.

In case of FOR delivery of sugar to Institutional and Retail customers follow up with Transporter and internal Dept. staff for loading and unloading of sugar.
D. Administration:-

To train/guide or develop new employees of Sugar Sales, domestic trading & Marketing Dept. regarding sugar delivery, sugar sale, SAP training, coordination with customer, ISO and FSSC 22K training & staff, bank release procedure etc.

To overall control on sugar department staff regarding all types of work on a daily basis.

To follow-up with all related departments regarding pending issues related to sugar small packing , pending payment, quality & audits etc.
