Job Description
As the HS&S RSPP Manager you will maintaine a safe environment.
- Fulfil legislative obligations related to the RSPP function.
- Take the primary lead in the transformation of HS&S services for UCI Italia, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
- Carry out regular gap-analysis reports between actual workplaces or procedural aspects and legal compliance requirements on safety, environment, and health topics, promptly advising senior managers in order to develop the proper corrective plans.
- Report correctly and promptly to the operations heads anomalies and deficiencies, propose and manage solutions.
- Process financial purchase orders for HS&S services in compliance with the Company process.
- Manage supplier invoiced cost against the agreed contractual terms.
- Coordinate with other departments to deliver HS&S standards.
- Twice per year prepare a report with HS&S manager Southern Europe to be reviewed by UCI Italia Directors in compliance with Italian legal obligation.
- Support management efforts to ensure compliance with all corporate program expectations and applicable laws at European, Country, and Municipal level
- Conduct risk assessments related to jobs performed (Job Hazard Analysis) and new equipment introductions.
- Work with HS&S leadership to develop accurate daily, weekly, and monthly metrics to report to onsite management teams and corporate based reporting systems.
- Work with HS&S to implement, prepare/maintain EHS reports and KPIs on the basis of legislative obligations and internal needs.
- Implement, maintain and record all food and beverage safety systems in cooperation with the food and beverage department, HS&S leadership and third-party suppliers.
- Maintain and record HS&S training across food hygiene and COVID regulations.
- Maintain and record the supply of required PPE across UCI Italia
- Investigate HS&S incidents; escalate to Territory HS&S team if advice/assistance required.
- Maintain fire‐safe conditions inside and outside the facility. You are required to have a working knowledge of local Fire Prevention and Protection requirements, including Fire protection, Smoke detection.
- Program, manage and undertake training of the operational management covering H&SS, topics in cooperation with HS&S leadership and operations.
- Implement and maintain a safe working and detection environment, responsible for management of security systems, CCTV, guarding and monetary loss prevention. in cooperation with operations department, HS&S leadership, and third-party suppliers.
- Maintain health and safety conditions inside and outside the facility.
- Maintain and manage legal HS& HS&S requirements as required by Italian Municipal Authorities
- Meet Municipal authorities when required.
- Ensure sufficient technical coverage is available, organising and directing third-party providers to manage cinema requirements cost-effectively.
- Maintain a HS&S folder for a chronological history of the building. The file will be kept current at all times. When there is a change in HS&S managers, the departing HS&S manager will turn this file over to the new HS&S manager. Explain the use, importance, and procedures for keeping the file current.
- Serve as the central point of contact for building occupants requesting HS&S support.
- Project manage stage one of Company Procurement policy process: This will require supplying agreed supplier scope of work, sourcing suppliers, and issuing requests for information. Delivering the supplier prequalification documents, supplying all existing contracts.
- Support procurement through process of tendering as the subject matter expert.
- Implement the transition of the new supplier in the Company.
- Work with the Country Facility manager on UCI Italy CAFM Odeon Group project, to be delivered by the end of 2021.
- Work with the Southern European leadership team to apply for European Grants to support HS&S improvement.
- Limit the requirement of consultants supporting the HS&S function.
- Work closely with senior leadership to find solutions and provide subject matter expertise to address a wide range of legacy and future challenges.
- Work alongside UCI Italia Insurance providers to manage and mitigate company losses.
- Manage, together with the required management, audits, insurance audits and any Group Audit that has to do with EHS matters (either in full or part).
- Develop and Implement emergency and crisis management plans in cooperation with HS&S leadership.
- Be a member of the country Crisis Management Team
Required:
- A proven track record of Customer Relationship and Financial Management.
- At least 3 years of experience in international company, working as HSE manager or RSPP.
- Sound knowledge of Italian safety legislation.
- RSPP Training A, B and C;
- HS&S professional that is trained in Health and Safety standard and has extensive knowledge of Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work
- Graduated in engineering or HSE field.
- Ability to communicate (written & verbal) in English and the local language at CEFR Level B2 or higher.
- Significant experience in a similar role, ideally in fast-paced leisure, hospitality, or retail environment.
