Hotel Manager
The Hotel is part of a fast-growing hotel chain, founded by two entrepreneurs with roots in the tech and travel industry. Together with a diverse group of operators, designers, architects, chefs, hotel veterans, and technologists they formed a brand that is eager to challenge the status quo of hospitality, creating a new kind of premium experience.
What you can expect from this role:
As Hotel Manager, you will manage the Guest Relations and Front Office operations to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service and compliance with the standards while exceeding company goals. You will build and nurture relationships with your team to ensure they provide an engaging, intuitive and refined service to our guests.
You will supervise all back office, housekeeping and maintenance activities. You will check that the rooms and related amenities are perfectly prepared for the guests. You will run the hotel smoothly by guiding and shaping standard operating procedures, checking and monitoring hotel security, making sure all spaces in the hotel look neat and tidy at all times.
You will be the Hotel’s brand ambassador and the main contact for every wish of our guests. Your purpose will be to make the stay of every guest unforgettable, paying attention to every detail. You have the experience and competence to change situations and solve any kind of problem. You know how to integrate yourself in a group of team players and achieve goals together.
This person must demonstrate the highest level of hospitality and professionalism in order to motivate his/her team to achieve the highest standards possible. He/She will have immaculate personal presentation and be able to maintain excellent working relationships in all hotel areas and with external customers and suppliers.
This is an incredibly demanding role that must have exceptional customer service skills, passion for excellence, ability to anticipate and resolve customer complaints, ability to work well in a team environment.
He/She must demonstrate ability to perform multiple tasks in a busy environment and remain flexible, must have a self-starting personality with an even disposition to effectively communicate with guests and staff, must possess thorough knowledge of all guest services department operations, and individual job requirements, must have ability to resolve employee conflicts.
What is expected of you:
- You have experience in luxury hospitality industry as Operations Manger or Hotel Manager
- You are fluent in English & Italian, both written and spoken word
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset
- Powerful sense of empathy towards colleagues and members alike. You are kind, friendly, and radiate positive energy
- You understand what it takes to build a business, from finance to cost-management
- You like to show up: You are a constant presence on property, acting as the face of the hotel to guests
- You know how to work with online software, especially CRM software, Financial tools, Excel, etc
