My client based in Sunbury on Thames are looking for an HR Advisor to join their busy team. This is a generalist role and would suit someone that has come from the construction or similar industry. 1 day a week will be in the Basingstoke office with occasional travel to Glasgow. This will suit someone with at least 2 years experience and strong organisational skills, ideally Cipd qualified.
They are looking for a proactive and engaged HR professional with strong result orientation and business mind, always keeping the people in focus, who can act as a change driver balancing HR aspects and business value, communication and interpersonal skills are key. The successful candidate will have a pragmatic and operational approach, always working closely with the organisation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To provide HR advice to the People Managers of the business on a range of employee relations matters
Supporting People Managers with employee relations investigations and hearings including disciplinary up to dismissal, grievances, absence management and performance reviews
Undertake all administrative duties related to the employee lifecycle
Management of the e-days system
To support recruitment activities and manage relationships with recruitment agencies
Using HR information systems to access, input and compile data
Generation of monthly HR reporting
Monthly payroll and pension administration
Identifying development needs and supporting with People Management training
Monitoring, reviewing and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation
