Job Description
We are looking for an HR Coordinator to support our client’s Human Resources department in managing the administration of seconded employees in Romania and across Europe for the construction of solar parks. The role involves ensuring compliance with labor laws, handling documentation, and supporting the smooth operation of HR processes related to international workforce management. Additionally, this role will include responsibilities related to Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Retention, and Performance Evaluation.
Responsibilities
1. Employee Administration & Compliance

- Supervise and support the HR team in daily operations having as goal to ensure that team meets HR goals and deadlines.
- Manage and track employment contracts, extensions, and terminations in accordance with labor laws.
- Ensure compliance with Romanian and European labor regulations, particularly for transnational secondments.
- Liaise with legal and HR teams to ensure proper work permits, visas, and social security registrations.
- Support payroll processing by ensuring correct tracking of allowances, bonuses, and expatriate benefits.
- Act as a point of contact for seconded employees, addressing administrative questions and concerns.
2. Secondment & Mobility Coordination

3. HR Operations & Support

- Collaborate with finance and payroll teams to ensure accurate salary payments for seconded employees.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process of new employees, ensuring smooth integration into projects.
4. Learning & Development

- Identify training needs and develop annual training plans to support employee growth and development.
- Organize and facilitate internal and external training sessions, workshops, and career development programs.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements.
5. Compensation & Benefits
-
- Assist in the development and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits strategies to attract and retain talent.
- Analyze salary benchmarks and ensure fair and market-aligned compensation structures.
- Monitor and update benefits packages in line with industry best practices and employee needs.
6. Employee Retention

- Develop and implement employee retention strategies to reduce turnover and increase engagement.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with managers to address employee concerns and improve workplace satisfaction.
7. Performance Evaluation & Motivation

- Support the performance evaluation process, ensuring timely goal setting, feedback, and assessments.
- Assist in designing and implementing recognition programs to motivate and reward employees.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on employee performance and development plans.
Requirements:

- Previous experience in HR administration, preferably in an international or construction-related environment, preferably +5 years
- Knowledge of Romanian labor laws and cross-border employment regulations in Europe.
- Experience in handling secondments, visas, and expatriate workforce administration is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and compliance.
- Ability to work collaboratively with different departments (HR, Finance, Operations).
- Proficiency in English and Romanian (other European languages are an advantage).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle employee queries professionally.
