Job Description
Position: HR Executive (Recruitment and Training)
Reporting to: Head of Human Resources
Scope and Purpose:
- To provide support in all disciplines of HR function that include, recruitment, staff development & training programmes, employee relations, contracts, performance reviews, benefits, separations etc.
- To support Head of Human Resources in planning and administering policies related to all aspects of Human Resources Management.
Key Result Areas & Responsibilities:
Recruitment
- Negotiating, managing, and maintaining contracts with recruitment agencies and outsourcing companies.
- Responsible for supporting the full lifecycle recruitment process from requisition through to the onboarding of candidates for Dubai and KSA based subsidiaries as well as for special assignments in African Countries
- Headhunting for talent, targeting passive candidates and approaching specific markets and organizations for roles and succession gaps.
- To work in partnership with internal stakeholders and senior managers on all aspects of internal and external recruitment and act as a subject matter expert for recruitment and help to improve and implement the current process, championing best practice recruitment.
- Initial screening of applications, shortlisting the candidates matching the job description and presenting the summary and resumes of shortlisted candidates with the hiring managers.
- To maintain excellent working relationships with hiring managers, employees, and candidates.
- Active involvement in shaping the candidate journey from screening and interviewing through to providing feedback and negotiating offers of employment.
- Implementing and embedding hiring processes, providing guidance and advise on routes to market & providing market and data insight to help stakeholders make informed decisions about the hires they make.
- Applying expertise and knowledge in sourcing candidates worldwide via a variety of direct sourcing methods including advertising, LinkedIn, social media, University Placement Division Teams, and headhunting.
- Responsible for arranging interviews and conducting competency-based interviews alongside recruiting mangers as well as identifying and implementing screening assessments where appropriate.
- Maintain a record of the recruitment activities (candidate’s details, application status and interview history) in SAP SuccessFactors and other systems (if needed).

Staff Development & Training
- Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees.
- Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers / Heads of Departments and prepare training calendars with cost estimations beginning of every calendar year.
- Assesses training materials prepared by instructors.
- Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
- Prepares and implements training budget; maintains records and reports of expenses.
- Develops unique training programs to fulfil workers specific needs to maintain or improve job skills.
- Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials.
- Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.
- Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.
- Regularly updates Virtual Learning Platform and giving access rights to new joiners
Secondary Responsibilities
Group Medical & Life Insurance
- Providers support on Insurance renewal processes
- Support with the claim’s escalations
- Support the Head of Human Resources in developing and implementing HR & Administration policies, procedures, and workflows.
- General support on all insurance-related matters (Annual & Quarterly Invoices; general queries; distribution of updated network lists)
Support annual air ticket encashment process by:
- Checking the airfares collected by the HR Team from various online sources and sends the airfare list to the Head of Human Resources for final review and approval.
- Support in organising social activities and other HR-organized events.
- Support in succession planning.
- Other HR administrative support (New employee joining activities; Bank employee-verifications; One Trust Processes; Recruitment-related Data Deletion Process; Verification & approvals of invoices from external providers; etc.)
Job Requirements
- Masters / Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, with special focus on Recruitment and Training & Development.
- Hands-on experience with well-known job sites and familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
- 7 to 8 years of proven work experience in Recruitment and Training & Development
- Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and professional websites like LinkedIn.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
- Ability to design and implement effective training and development programs.
