Job Description
Our client is a US manufacturer with a local plant of over 100 employees. We are seeking a
HR Generalist
who would be responsible for attracting, motivating and retaining a high-performing diverse workforce.
In spite of the relatively small size, the tasks cover full spectrum of the HR.
Tasks:
- Evaluate human relations and work related problems and meet with leaders to determine effective resolutions, such as additional training, communication improvements, or disciplinary action.
- Provide guidance to supervisory personnel and counseling to employees in order to resolve disputes and employee concerns in the most fair and equitable fashion.
- Drive the hiring selection process that supports the decision to select the proper candidate, coordinate all internal job posting practices and placement to ensure proper awarding of positions and best utilization of available personnel.
- Ensure that each employee has an opportunity for career development and understands his/her growth opportunities and to grow the company's intellectual capital.
- Drive the salary and appraisal process for consistency, fairness, timeliness and effective utilization of the tool by coaching leaders.
- Evaluate local reward, benefit and bonus systems in order to ensure and improve employee retention and employer attraction and to ensure competitive compensation plans.
- Assist in the creation of company policy and push policy administration ownership to line management.
- Oversee the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by labor law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization, related to both Human Resources and EHS.
- Conduct orientation of new employees to ensure compliance with human resources, safety, and quality policies and standards.
- Attend meetings of managers, supervisors, and work units to facilitate effective communication and ascertain problems that adversely affect employee morale and productivity.
- Prepare periodic reports to Management.
- Ensure and actively support proper monthly payroll process and administration of benefits programs.
Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related
- 3+ years human resources experience in manufacturing
- 3+ years of recruitment experience
- Deep understanding / knowledge of the Hungarian Labor Code
- Fluent English
